Rival airlines Emirates, Etihad say yes to share info, learning ability

Emirates and Etihad Airways authorized a deal on Monday to share information and also intelligence, the first deal between the two rival flight companies based in the United Arab Emirates.

Emirates Director Tim Clark and Etihad Airways fresh Group Chief Executive Tony adamowicz Douglas signed an MoU; plus the agreement is among Emirates unit Emirates Group Security together with Etihad parent Etihad Aviation Collection, according to a statement from Emirates.

Clark had told Reuters within October that Dubai-based Emirates was open to cooperating using Abu Dhabis Etihad.
